Received our one laptop per child laptops today, just in the nick of
time for xmas. I had one out of the box to play as soon as the kids
were asleep (or feigning well enough to fool me.)
Initial reactions:
1. Wow this is cool
2. Wow. Really damn cool.
3. Wow I don't know a thing about open source sw.
4. The keyboard seems a little flaky (recalibrated the touchpad and it
helped at least on the touchpad.)
5. I already trouble-shot one thing (see aforementioned recalibration)
- yay me. www.laptop.org/gettingstarted helped a lot.
6. Did I mention that they're kind of tiny? In an "aww, that's so
cute" kind of way, but also in a "gives your hand a cramp" kind of way.
